This strengths-based workshop provides a safe space for groups to ask tricky questions, clarify confusions and make mistakes, while learning practical ways to be (even) better allies to the LGBTIQA+ community.

After reviewing important language and terminology, groups explore a range of simple, practical and powerful ways that they can support and lift the LGBTIQA+ people in their lives.

Throughout the workshop, attendees take part in a range of interactive exercises, hear firsthand from LGBTIQA+ Australians about their experiences, and walk away with new strategies for creating inclusive environments and relationships.

Our patient and open-minded facilitators encourage attendees to make the most of this unique opportunity by asking the burning questions they may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere.
