This workshop provides an open-minded and supportive environment to explore the complex topic of supporting young LGBTIQA+ people in Australia.

After reviewing important language and terminology associated with the LGBTIQA+ community, groups deep-dive into the reality of growing up “queer” in Australia.

Throughout the workshop, attendees take part in a range of interactive exercises, hear firsthand from young LGBTIQA+ Australians about their experiences, and learn practical ways to support the young LGBTIQA+ people in their lives.

Our patient and understanding facilitators encourage attendees to make the most of this unique opportunity by asking the burning questions they may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere.
