IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia) is a global day recognising the discrimination and harm still experienced by LGBTIQA+ people.

In today’s climate, with LGBTIQA+ rights being actively challenged and discrimination still occurring across workplaces, schools and communities, IDAHOBIT is a crucial opportunity to come together in support of human rights, dignity and safety.

In 2026, IDAHOBIT lands on Sunday 17 May.

Many workplaces and schools acknowledge the date in the lead up to IDAHOBIT or in the week following, using that time to engage staff and communities in a more considered way.
